Steve Heron : Indie

A love letter to the city of Edinburgh’s nightlife, PICTURESQUE is a mammoth journey over the course of a several nights and remembering the good times that were had. The video is an incredibly fun and jovial video experience that was shot more as a documentary as I accompanied the girls on a night out, both who were non-actors and friends of Steve. The additional band footage was simply shot against a white wall to give it more of a George Michael FAITH vibe. What eventually ties the video together is the use of the photos that bridge the cuts between the actual night and reminiscence of the night. It had to instill a sense of fun, be relatable and carry through to the end of the video in a satisfying way.
