I arrived in the US at the beginning of March in the midst of a global pandemic. The wedding itself was a fantastic example of the good things that came out of the bad in this global situation. Whatever you may of thought about the gathering before the lockdown guidelines came into full effect (mere days after), the fact that a wedding, that was at the brink of being outright cancelled without any foreseeable renew date, was able to proceed at a more simple but ultimately fun outcome.
Shot 100% for slow-motion (50fps) it was to illustrate the sense of vibrancy of the event and to capture all the small details that may have been lost at 25fps. This vibrancy was also apparent in opting to saturate the images so the colors popped on-screen. At times intimate but wholly personal, the video made a fantastic addition to the already captured footage from the wedding videographer.
